Founded in 2016, OLLELLA is a partnership between two Indonesian sisters, OLLyvia and MarcELLA Putri who envisioned a pastry shop with delicious pastries layered with different flavours and textures. Ollyvia spent years learning complex Western pastry techniques in the kitchens of world-renowned Parisian and American pastry masters. The sisters honed their well-refined palate and refined aesthetic through years spent shadowing their beloved grandmother in the kitchen.
OLLELLA currently has two main entities: Chouquette by OLLELLA and Gula by OLLELLA. Chouquette by OLLELLA specializes in making little bundles of airy crisp choux pastries filled with luscious cream and adorned with garnishes such as fresh fruit, buttery streusel or tiny pieces of sponge cake. Gula by OLLELLA is the sisters' tribute to their heritage selling Kue Lapis Legit - an intricately made tradition Indonesian twenty-layer cake lovingly and painstakingly made using the secret family recipe passed down by the sisters' grandmother.
Other products in their repertoire include custom-made seasonal specials, such as the contemporary Mid-Autumn creations, the unique Holiday Collection, macarons and artisanal ice-cream freshly made at pop up events.
